flower power – 5 recipes for squash blossoms

We stumbled across these blooms at the Jean-Talon Market in Montreal, and frankly had no idea what to do with them.

How and why would anyone eat a flower? After some research we found out that not only can you eat them, but they are also as nutritious as the zucchini itself. After scouring the interweb and things we found many delicious ways to prepare them. See below for our round up of our 5 favorite recipes.
